The first generation small-scale prototype has successfully completed the first cycle of testing. Results confirm a high thermal efficiency, which is achieved thanks to the patented FLASC technology.
The prototype pre-charge pressure has now been increased to commence the high pressure testing phase. This will increase the energy density of the installation and push the hydro-pneumatic system to the upper limit of its operating range.
An underwater survey of the prototype system was also carried out, confirming the integrity of the equipment.
